Beschreibung

• Perform engineering design and analysis of substation projects for various clients within Canada and the US in the industrial space under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer. • Support mutual success with both the clients and NEI by providing quality deliverables that are on time and within the defined budget. • Implement the NEI Quality Assurance Plan. • Train junior level engineers and designers in areas of physical design of electrical substations & BESS facilities. • Write technical go-bys and training documents. Assist with the creation and enforcement of technical standards across the department. • Consult regularly with the Team Lead on key decisions and activities. • Perform the review of detailed physical engineering for all aspects of electric power substations including multi-disciplinary coordination. • Prepare hand and computer-based calculations and models for physical designs. • Prepare a variety of documents and reports associated with projects including cost estimates, budget reports, and proposals for complex projects. • Manage deliverables and deadlines to ensure they are submitted on time for both internal QA/QC deadlines and external deadlines to client. • Ensure that client requirements, specifications, and expectations are being met.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution. • 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience. • P. E. is Preferred • Proficiency with AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Effective written and oral communication skills. • Good interpersonal skills.
