Beschreibung

• Own the multi-quarter vision, strategy, and roadmap for the shared hosting platform across brands • Align engineering, program management, partner teams, and executive leadership around product priorities • Make prioritization decisions and build business cases using sizing, cohort impact modeling, and payback analysis • Diagnose churn across first-term and renewal-term, voluntary and involuntary, and price- versus experience-driven causes • Improve renewal transparency and value perception in partnership with pricing, billing, and lifecycle marketing • Own failed-payment, expiring-card, dunning, and reactivation product experiences • Reduce refunds and cancellations during the money-back guarantee window • Improve time-to-first-published-site through provisioning, onboarding, domain connection, and first-session experiences • Modernize the hosting control panel and manage migration away from cPanel-era tooling • Reduce customer support contact drivers in partnership with Customer Care • Improve customer-facing incident, status, diagnostics, uptime, speed, and resource-limit experiences • Define and instrument the platform metric tree • Partner with data science on cohort analysis, survival curves, and driver models • Run experimentation programs and evaluate results rigorously • Maintain voice-of-customer practices through interviews, support-ticket mining, NPS/CSAT analysis, and session review • Monitor competitors and substitution pressure from website and commerce SaaS platforms • Lead cross-functional teams without formal authority • Own platform metrics including retention, renewal, churn, refunds, activation, time-to-published-site, support contact rate, CSAT, NPS, attach rate, and cost to serve • Establish independent retention insights within 90 days, launch a funded roadmap within six months, and deliver measurable renewal and support-contact improvements within 12 months

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years in product management • Meaningful experience with a self-serve subscription product at consumer or SMB scale • Track record of owning and improving a retention or customer experience metric • Technical fluency in DNS, SSL, the LAMP/WordPress stack, control panels, email delivery, caching and CDNs, and resource isolation • Fluency with SQL or an equivalent • Ability to design trustworthy experiments • Comfort with cohort and retention analysis • Direct and regular engagement with customers and frontline support teams • Ability to work effectively with legacy-scale platforms and in-flight migrations • Understanding of volume economics and subscription metrics • Excellent written communication • Ability to influence partner teams without formal authority • Bias to action • Direct experience in web hosting, domains, or web presence products is an advantage • Depth in the WordPress ecosystem is an advantage • Experience with pricing and packaging, renewal pricing, or subscription monetization is an advantage • Experience running large-scale platform or infrastructure migrations with a customer-experience lens is an advantage • Background adjacent to support operations is an advantage • Experience shipping in a multi-brand portfolio is an advantage • Hands-on experience applying AI to customer support, onboarding, or site management is an advantage
