Beschreibung

• Design and develop backend compute services and APIs for ARM64 and x86_64 instance management • Expand platform functionality, resource orchestration tools, and APIs for cloud compute provisioning • Contribute to production support and resolve complex issues affecting low-level compute systems • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate ARM server hardware and resolve technical performance bottlenecks • Improve compute platform performance, feature sets, multi-core scalability, and service reliability • Work on core compute platform infrastructure and APIs powering instance orchestration across the Akamai Connected Cloud • Collaborate with QEMU, Linux systems, and hardware teams to drive native ARM and x86 compute

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of relevant experience • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent • Extensive experience with the full software development life cycle, including code reviews, release management, and support • Proficiency developing software in Python, Go, C/C++, or Rust • Experience with cloud compute virtualization technologies such as KVM and QEMU • Experience with container runtimes, Linux system APIs, or hypervisor integration • Experience with web application development, microservices, micro-orchestration, RESTful APIs, and database design patterns • Excellent debugging, profiling, and troubleshooting skills across distributed Linux systems and database layers
