Beschreibung

• Organize and control project-related procurement activities in the United States • Maximize contribution to operating profit through effective purchasing, supplier management, and optimization of procurement processes and resources • Lead procurement across construction, civil works, mechanical and electrical services, utilities, equipment, temporary staffing, heavy-equipment rental, consulting, permitting, and related project categories • Plan, execute, optimize, and control project procurement results to increase economic value added • Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies with Global Procurement and Project Management • Initiate procurement processes, issue RFPs/RFQs, evaluate bids, negotiate commercial terms, and resolve procurement challenges • Manage supplier performance, qualification, and master supplier data • Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, insurance requirements, lien waivers, documentation standards, and delivery obligations • Coordinate procurement with Construction, Engineering, O&M, Project Management, Finance, Logistics, and site teams • Oversee expediting, monitor delivery milestones, and address schedule risks • Coach and guide Buyer I and project procurement support staff • Support development and implementation of procurement procedures, processes, and operational tools • Participate in hiring, promotion, disciplinary action, and termination matters in coordination with supervisory and corporate management • Perform other duties and projects assigned by management

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Economy, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s degree preferred • 10–15 years of procurement experience, including project procurement in construction, utilities, civil, mechanical/electrical, or infrastructure environments • 5–7 years of management or supervisory experience • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Expert negotiation skills, commercial competency, and strong process knowledge • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet tools, and ability to learn ERP systems; SAP preferred • Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information • Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; must operate a vehicle safely • Ability to travel up to 50% • Ability to work at a computer and monitor using repetitive motion for extended periods • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds • Position requires 80% sitting and 20% standing/walking
