Beschreibung

• Create and maintain data models, data mappings, and data relationship diagrams • Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes • Analyze and validate source data for completeness, accuracy, and relevance • Gather, document, and clarify data requirements with business stakeholders and team members • Perform data quality checks, testing, and validation procedures • Configure and administer cloud-based data services and environments under senior engineer direction • Apply data security, governance, and data handling practices • Prepare and maintain technical and process documentation and status reports • Troubleshoot data-related issues and support continuous improvement • Perform work safely and in compliance with ISMS/EMS requirements • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience • Working knowledge of relational databases, data models, ETL/ELT processes, data quality, and data lifecycle management • Working knowledge of SQL and scripting/programming languages used for data engineering tasks • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services • Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance requirements • Familiarity with data quality validation, testing methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques • Understanding of flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and system integration concepts • Ability to pass a background and drug screening • Must have identification compliant with the Real ID Act at time of hire • Must be able to obtain Department of Energy PIV badge • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and standard business software applications • Ability to travel by vehicle or aircraft and safely operate a motor vehicle • Knowledge of Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements or similar regulated environments preferred • Preferred experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, notebooks, workflows, and data transformation processes • Preferred experience programming in Python for data engineering, automation, data quality validation, and data integration • Preferred experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies • Preferred knowledge of AI-ready data curation, data profiling, cleansing, normalization, metadata management, data quality monitoring, and preparation of structured and unstructured data • Preferred experience with data governance, data cataloging, lineage, and data stewardship • Preferred familiarity with analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and AI/ML data-set design • Preferred experience with large-scale structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources • Preferred experience with SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or Crystal Reports • Preferred experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other enterprise relational database management systems • Preferred familiarity with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and master data management • Preferred experience in regulated, security-conscious, or highly governed environments • Preferred knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and Git or Azure DevOps
