Beschreibung

• Own OTM's editorial output end to end, from concept and calendar through final published deliverable • Set the editorial calendar and determine coverage across the blog, The Directory, social, and email • Run the real wedding pipeline from submission through Instagram carousel • Manage The Directory's editorial content and keep it sharp and current • Manage one direct report, the Retention Contributor • Participate on the integrated marketing team and report to the Integrated Marketing Director • Build and maintain the editorial calendar aligned with company initiatives and marketing channels • Develop stories and recurring franchises including real weddings, Dream Registries, planning advice, shopping and gift guides, trend and design coverage, vendor and designer interviews, and seasonal and cultural moments • Align editorial with launches, registry pushes, brand collaborations, and campaign moments while protecting the distinction between editorial and promotion • Track traffic, engagement, affiliate, and email performance and use results to guide future commissions • Review and respond to wedding submissions from couples, planners, and photographers • Select weddings based on editorial lens, design, photography quality, fashion, and sense of place • Proactively source weddings through photographer, planner, and designer networks • Interview couples, planners, and photographers • Obtain complete vendor credits and image sets and manage permissions and delivery timelines • Write wedding features and headlines in OTM's house style • Select and sequence images, write captions and credits, and publish in the CMS • Adapt weddings into Instagram features, including image selection, sequencing, captions, and carousel builds, in partnership with the Social Media Lead • Write and edit blog content including Dream Registries, planning guidance, shopping and registry stories, gift guides, trend pieces, interviews, and brand and designer features • Apply SEO fundamentals, including search-aware headlines and structure, internal linking, metadata, and evergreen content refreshes • Maintain accurate and current affiliate and product links • Support The Directory with vendor profile copy, new listing onboarding, spotlights, roundups, and connections between Directory members and editorial content • Keep Directory listings accurate and current in collaboration with the Marketing Assistant • Identify opportunities to connect Directory and blog coverage • Set direction for, brief, edit, and review the Retention Contributor's work • Connect retention work to the editorial calendar so email and lifecycle content draws on published content

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experience working in wedding or bridal media, including an editorial role at a wedding or bridal publication • Experience owning an editorial calendar and deciding what content gets produced • Strong, fast writing skills with a portfolio of published features • Ability to maintain a house voice • Strong interviewing skills • Real fashion knowledge, including identifying gowns and understanding their significance • Experience editing others' work • Comfort using performance data to inform editorial decisions • Fluency on Instagram as a publishing surface • Strong organizational skills for managing approximately thirty concurrent projects at different stages • A distinct editorial point of view • Nice to have: CMS experience with Shopify or WordPress • Nice to have: affiliate and SEO tooling experience • Nice to have: light photo editing • Nice to have: an existing network of planners and photographers • Nice to have: experience working alongside a commerce or registry business
