Beschreibung

• Ensures compliance with applicable policies and reviews contracts to ensure that revenue is recorded in compliance with GAAP. • Record and reconcile all patient and hospital revenue entries • Work with Billings Specialist to make sure all invoices are accurate, sent to the clients on time, and according to the facilities’ contracts. • Work with and assist the Revenue Accounting Manager with all their job responsibilities including recording of journal entries and reconciliations • Assist Vice President of Revenue with all patient and hospital revenue related analyses and projects • Other responsibilities as assigned by Revenue Accounting Manager or Vice President of Revenue • Promote NorthStar Anesthesia’s Core Values. • Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance. • Performs other duties as required.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance • 2-5 years of accounting background • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills is required • Healthcare experience preferred but not required • An understanding of contracts and the healthcare revenue cycle is preferred but not required • Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to do accounting research to find solutions for accounting issues. • Experience with Great Plains is a plus.
