Beschreibung

• Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap and launch criteria for APEX platform surfaces across a 1–6 quarter horizon • Set launch-readiness criteria for non-deterministic systems with Engineering, Security, Research and Design • Define autonomy spectra and trust and control experiences for users • Identify and mitigate misuse and risk before launch • Define monitoring, audit trails and rollback capabilities for autonomous features • Build prototypes, scripts and evaluation harnesses inside engineering and product repositories and internal SDKs • Use the platform daily and submit precise bug reports and behavior-change requests • Instrument adoption, quality and safety metrics and run experiments and A/B tests • Manage, coach and develop product managers, including development plans and performance conversations • Hire and develop AI-fluent, technically credible product managers • Translate vision and portfolio strategy into sequenced roadmaps tied to business OKRs • Own domain-level OKRs and report progress, risks and trade-offs • Make build, buy and partner decisions with explicit ROI reasoning • Build cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Design, Data, Security, Marketing and GTM • Ensure responsible AI, ethics, compliance and legal reviews are completed • Represent the platform through enablement, developer relations, launch communications and public launches • Use AI tools and agents in daily work and model their use for the team • Report to the VP of Product Management for APEX • Contribute to Pax8’s AI and cloud marketplace serving SMBs and IT partners

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 8–10 years of experience in product management or an equivalent role • At least 3 years of experience leading product managers, including growing a team • Prior professional experience as a software engineer, or equivalent track record driving technical product direction • Comfortable writing prototype-quality code, scripts and evaluation harnesses personally • Track record delivering capabilities on developer-focused platforms, including APIs, SDKs, CLIs or developer tools • Track record leading multiple products with measurable outcomes and significant product, platform, automation or process transformation • Experience designing and running experiments and instrumenting adoption and quality metrics • Ability to articulate and defend expected ROI • Excellent communication, organizational and people skills • Fluency with frontier models and agentic systems, including tool use, planning, multi-step execution and failure modes • Knowledge of agent SDKs, computer-use interfaces and orchestration frameworks • Ability to interpret model evaluations and capability reports • Ability to set safety, authority and escalation boundaries for autonomous capabilities • Daily experience with Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Atlassian AI, Figma and Pendo • Understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including cost, latency and quality trade-offs • Ability to use enterprise-approved AI tools and apply data classification and privacy principles • Responsible AI knowledge, including bias, fairness and transparency requirements • Effective prompting and context-setting skills • Ability to measure AI product outcomes including accuracy, user satisfaction, adoption and business impact • Expert AI proficiency • B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience • Valid right to work in the United States • Willingness to complete identity, security compliance, reference and qualification checks • Product management certification preferred
