Beschreibung

• perform both routine and non-routine/complex monthly close responsibilities • analyze books and records on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness • ensure compliance with GAAP and international statutory reporting requirements • liaise with external audit firm on both routine and non routine matters • participate in and guide the development, implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and internal controls • assist in designing new processes and enhance existing ones; implement scalable processes to support the Paxos’ growth, and drive continuous improvement • enable Paxos to meet internal and external reporting requirements • immerse yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, our regulation-first approach, and more!

🎯 Anforderungen

• a minimum of 3 years of combined experience in public accounting (audit) and private/in-house accounting • experience in start-ups and/or financial services • bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA license and strong knowledge of GAAP • experience overseeing and managing accounting staff • proficiency with NetSuite ERP or other cloud-based accounting software • strong drive to continuously improve the accounting operations, controls and financial reporting processes, including leveraging systems and technologies to improve workflows and scalability • excellent organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills
