Beschreibung

• Collaborate and brainstorm with social media team members to create compelling, emotionally evocative content through words and imagery for PETA's Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok accounts. • Work on priorities from other departments to promote PETA's major issues and encourage the public to consider animals. • Communicate with departments to ensure posts are engaging, factually accurate, and emotionally compelling. • Analyze content performance and audience response to improve and replicate success and grow the following. • Learn audience preferences and create content tailored for sharing. • Research current social media trends, memes, and apply them creatively to PETA's efforts. • Post in real time, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and urgent breaking-news situations. • Travel locally to create TikTok content or collect content during protests in the area. • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Must own or have access to reliable transportation such as a car or public transit, as content collection will be required for the position, sometimes on a moment's notice. • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, graphic design, or related field or equivalent experience. • Experience creating content for social media brand pages with proven success in fostering engagement and analysis. • Knowledge of the biggest demographic on Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook and how to write captivating content for each audience. • Photoshop and Premiere skills are a plus; familiarity with some of the Adobe Creative Cloud. • Excellent writing and organizational skills. • Ability to accept feedback and improve. • Ability to work quickly and navigate a large organization with many goals. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proven ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines. • Ability to produce high-quality work within short timeframes. • Knowledge of PETA campaigns and animal rights issues. • Must support PETA's philosophy and advocate its positions professionally. • Commitment to the organization's objectives; following a vegan lifestyle would be a part of this.
