Beschreibung

• Join one of Plasma's engineering teams and own its hardest technical problems end to end • Set technical direction for core systems, including architecture, data models, and engineering standards • Design reliable systems involving real-money movement, storage, or network dependencies • Own TypeScript services and data models, working through client or API layers when needed • Define handling of partial failures, retries, timeouts, reversals, and reconciliation gaps • Contribute to, architect, and improve frontend systems and integrations • Raise technical standards for code, testing, monitoring, incident response, and ambiguous problem-solving • Mentor engineers and drive technical clarity • Partner with product and other teams where systems connect

🎯 Anforderungen

• Staff-level, hands-on engineer with a track record of owning production systems end to end • Deep expertise building backend services in TypeScript and Node.js • Full-stack range sufficient to work through the client layer when needed • Strong understanding of reliability, correctness, state machines, data integrity, observability, and operational risk • Ability to take systems from zero to one and scale them • Strong judgment on technical tradeoffs • Clear communication and clean code • Ability to lead technical decisions without managing people • Very high agency and proactive problem-solving • Data-driven decision-making • Nice to have: fintech, banking, or crypto-native background • Nice to have: familiarity with stablecoins, custody, settlement, and blockchain transaction lifecycles • Nice to have: founder or early employee experience at a fast-paced, high-agency startup
