Beschreibung

• Report to the Chief Operating Officer • Manage individual contributors and other managers • Serve as a practitioner on client work, fractionally billable on one or more projects • Lead and support innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within Software Engineering • Establish and track OKRs and KPIs for company-wide Software Engineering initiatives • Ensure technical excellence and adoption of best practices across programs • Support technical solutions, proposal development, and market research • Oversee hiring, succession planning, and staffing strategy with the COO and Talent team • Drive talent development through practice community meetings, training, and mentorship • Manage bench time utilization and career growth opportunities • Collaborate with other directors on cross-capability engagement • Connect business, team, project, and technology needs; identify and mitigate risks and provide solutions

🎯 Anforderungen

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance • Must have experience managing managers of a 40+ person group within a consulting organization • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience • 10+ years of software development team leadership and people management, showing a progression of increased responsibilities over time • Experience developing success indicators and goals for software engineering teams • Experience partnering with product, UX, and cloud engineering peers across teams and programs • Experience growing talent through hiring, mentoring, and hands-on career development in alignment with a career model • Expertise in legacy software modernization and architecting applications for the cloud • Expertise in Agile and DevSecOps-based delivery • Expertise in technical writing, presentation writing, and proposal development • Bonus: Experience delivering on public sector projects • Bonus: Certifications in Agile software development methodologies • Bonus: Certifications in cloud platforms and related technologies
