Beschreibung

• Design and evolve highly available, performant, and resilient systems as traffic and complexity grow • Identify bottlenecks, improve critical paths, and design for graceful failure • Improve cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and engineering environments • Improve observability, debugging, deployments, and incident response • Build primitives, abstractions, and automation that reduce operational toil and help engineering move faster • Translate financial and regulatory requirements into robust technical systems • Build auditability, access control, and data integrity into systems • Work across infrastructure, backend systems, and the application layer • Improve foundational systems and ship new platform primitives

🎯 Anforderungen

• Senior-level engineering experience combining deep systems thinking with product judgment • Backend and systems engineering experience, including distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and operating production systems at scale • Strong experience with relational databases, data modelling, query optimization, and designing for data integrity and performance • Ability to reason through complex technical trade-offs, anticipate failure modes, and choose maintainable solutions • Ability to work across infrastructure, backend, and application layers • Product-minded approach balancing speed, simplicity, and robustness • Willingness to own outcomes end to end, from problem definition through operation and improvement • Interest in building abstractions, tooling, and automation • Security-minded approach to security, access control, and auditability • Experience with payments, billing, or financial infrastructure is a strong plus • Open-source contributions and side projects are valued • Experience with the listed technology stack: TypeScript, React, Effect, Python, FastAPI, Dramatiq, Postgres, ClickHouse, and AWS
