Beschreibung

• Support operational project teams in all financial areas associated with running a clinical trial • Assist with preparing monthly invoicing worksheets used for client invoicing and revenue recognition • Perform variance analysis comparing forecasted revenue with actual revenue to identify gaps and scope changes • Review work orders and change order budgets against actual activities to identify out-of-scope activities • Support monthly project review meetings as needed • Assist the Manager and Vice President of Operational Finance with contract documents, statements of work, and change orders • Support financial reporting and general ledger functions with the Company Accountant • Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close • Ensure timely reporting of monthly financial information • Collaborate with Finance colleagues on department goals and objectives • Respond to CFO and Vice President of Operational Finance inquiries, special reporting requests, and ad hoc project analyses • Assist in developing and implementing procedures and features to improve workflow and internal controls

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent experience in accounting discipline • Minimum two years general ledger and financial reporting experience, including working knowledge of all areas of the accounting cycle, project budgets, financial project management support, Earned Value Analysis (EVA) analysis, and contract review, or equivalent relevant experience and/or demonstrated competencies • Fluency in English and, for non-English-speaking countries, the local language of the country where the position is based • Working knowledge of the life cycle of a project and how financials and contract status impact each stage of a clinical trial • Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations • Strong Excel/PC skills • Strong accounting skills • Ability to work on multiple assignments and tasks • Ability to learn quickly • Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
