Beschreibung

• Provide direction and guidance throughout the life of the claim • Direct the management of claims including investigation, coverage analysis, monitoring defense counsel activities, control of legal expenses, reserving, and providing technical expertise • Participate in review processes to evaluate coverage, liability, causation, damages, case value, reserves, and manage total claims cost • Collaborate with defense counsel regarding case value, defense tactics, and strategies • Responsible for preparing reports for management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing claim information • Represent the Company through attendance at trials, settlement conferences, mediations, and insured meetings • Review and approve reasonable legal expenses and fees associated with the claim file and negotiate adjustment of charges when appropriate • Recommend resolution strategies and participate in settlement negotiations when appropriate

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree required • Advanced degree or certification in the medical, legal, or insurance field preferred • Minimum two years’ experience in the legal, medical, or insurance field • Professional liability experience preferred • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills • Strong analytical skills • Proven leadership, communication, and writing skills • Strong interpersonal and relationship management expertise • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Ability to learn new computer software applications • Valid driver’s license required
