Beschreibung

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for a variety of business models (e-commerce, tech, professional services &/or consumer product goods) • Develop business performance reporting and custom financial & operating KPI dashboards; Report on KPIs on a monthly basis • Work hand-in-hand with the accounting team to review and cross-check monthly client financial performance • Perform monthly variance analysis focused on actuals vs. budgets vs. constantly evolving forecasts • Work with clients to find analytical and modeling projects outside of the normal budgeting and review process to add additional value • Provide input and advice to clients based upon scalable best practices to improve their results, improve internal processes, reduce or optimize costs and increase sales • Identify strategic insights and big picture conclusions through analyzing the data • Assist clients in the fundraising process including building investor-facing models, leading financial diligence process, working directly with VCs, etc. • Help train Propeller’s Financial Analyst team

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years in finance-focused roles such as: • 2+ years in investment banking and/or consulting • 2+ years focused on FP&A and/or strategic finance in-house at a technology or high-growth company • Great team player and work ethic • Superior financial modeling and presentation skills • Deep understanding of financial principles and expanding knowledge of accounting principles • Ability to build complex 3 statement financial forecasts and provide in-depth variance analysis and insights to inform business decisions • Comfort with data and ambiguity, and an ability to delve into details and adapt priorities on the fly • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple client workstreams • Ability and desire to teach others within the organization to help grow the broader internal FP&A skill set
