Beschreibung

• Own the engineering organization: team structure, hiring, performance, career growth, and culture • Set and hold the bar for engineering quality, reliability, and delivery cadence • Partner with the Director of Product to translate roadmap priorities into sequenced, executable engineering plans • Drive architectural decisions that support scale, maintainability, and AI integration • Lead incident response culture: fast resolution, clear communication, and real learning afterward • Build direct relationships with individual contributors. You know who your strongest engineers are, what they need to grow, and what would make them leave. • Define engineering metrics that connect system health to customer experience and business outcomes • Own the evaluation and integration of AI-powered development tooling and practices across the team • Partner with Erin on technical strategy, roadmap sequencing, and organizational priorities

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an engineering leadership role • A track record of building and scaling B2B SaaS products in production environments • Deep experience leading engineering teams through growth: hiring, onboarding, performance management, and retention • Demonstrated ability to balance delivery speed with technical integrity and make that tradeoff visible to the business • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
