Beschreibung

• Lead the team to achieve customer service and claims management excellence • Ensure accuracy of benefits paid on disability claims based on deductible sources of income, offsets, and contractual provisions • Monitor, track, and analyze reporting to ensure appropriate offset management of claims • Develop effective action plans to improve team and individual performance • Build and maintain internal and external customer relationships • Provide direct reports with ongoing support, training, feedback, coaching, and recognition • Drive employee engagement and continuous process improvement • Identify potential successors and emerging leaders for key leadership positions • Ensure team compliance with risk identification, assessment, monitoring, control, and escalation obligations

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum of three years in Group Insurance Operations or claims experience required • Proven understanding of STD/Absence/Paid Leave claim management processes and offset management required • Strong critical thinking, mathematical, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills required • Detail oriented with solid interpersonal skills • Proven strong Customer Service skills • Prior coaching, mentorship, or leadership skills required • Ability to problem solve independently • Proven focus on continuous improvement • Ability to collaborate across business • Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills required • Proficiency in Teams, MS Word, and Excel • Direct supervisory experience is a plus • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
