Beschreibung

• **Technical Oversight & Signing:** Review and sign federal/state tax returns and monthly financial statements. Ensure technical accuracy and GAAP compliance across all client work. • **Service Delivery Management:** Oversee tax and accounting engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring all monthly close and tax deadlines are met with consistency. • **People Leadership:** Directly supervise Managers, Seniors, and Staff. Provide coaching and performance management, and play a key role in hiring and capacity planning. • **Operational Excellence:** Monitor team utilization and realization. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements to strengthen the firm’s efficiency. • **Risk & Advisory:** Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the team, exercising independent professional judgment to manage risk and solve complex client issues.

🎯 Anforderungen

• **Credentials:** **Active CPA license in good standing is required.** • **Experience:** **10+ years of progressive experience** in public accounting, including significant experience as a signing tax preparer. • **Leadership:** Proven track record of supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting and tax professionals. • **Technical Breadth:** Strong working knowledge of both tax compliance and GAAP financial reporting for small and midsize businesses. • **Soft Skills:** A calm, steady presence under pressure and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-financial business owners.
