Beschreibung

• Design and implement platform solutions meeting organizational outcomes and non-functional requirements • Contribute to reference architectures and review designs for reliability, performance, and cost • Investigate complex issues, perform root-cause analyses, and implement preventative patterns and guardrails • Collaborate with developers and clients on Windows and Linux solutions, including .NET workloads • Manage and improve source control, CI/CD, packaging, and artifact-management tooling • Design and operate hybrid and multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure or GCP, and on-premises environments • Engineer resilient hybrid connectivity and data services • Recommend workload placement based on performance, cost, compliance, and latency • Implement identity, secrets, and policy patterns across clouds and data centers • Build repeatable environments using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management • Use and integrate AI-powered tools for scripting, documentation, testing, incident triage, and change planning • Define and track SLIs/SLOs; build alerts and dashboards • Perform capacity planning, performance engineering, resilience testing, and disaster recovery exercises • Apply security best practices including least privilege, encryption, patching baselines, and policy-as-code • Provide tier-3 support and participate in on-call rotations • Create reusable infrastructure modules, images, and patterns • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and Communities of Practice • Optimize platform cost and efficiency • Mentor systems engineers and provide technical coaching, code reviews, design reviews, and onboarding support

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of experience in workstation or server administration • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering delivering production solutions • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Confluence/Jira • Strong PowerShell and Bash scripting/automation skills • Proficiency in at least one of .NET, Python, or Go • Knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, and containerization such as Kubernetes/Docker • Knowledge of SAN/LAN, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity including VPN, Direct Connect, and ExpressRoute • Experience operating AWS and at least one additional cloud, Azure or GCP, plus on-premises data centers • Practical experience using AI-powered tools with attention to security and data governance • Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep • CI/CD experience for infrastructure and configurations • Observability tooling experience with logs, metrics, and traces • Knowledge of reliability concepts including SLOs and error budgets • Knowledge of code development practices or equivalent enterprise application integration experience • Experience supporting production infrastructure in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments • Understanding of networking, identity, access, and connectivity fundamentals • Demonstrated automation mindset and ability to improve repetitive processes • Ability to apply security, access control, change management, documentation, validation, and operational readiness practices • On-call participation may include nights and weekends
