Beschreibung
• Serve as the primary technical leader for one or more teams within a product domain such as Pricing, Underwriting, or Claims • Work closely with software engineers to ship valuable software • Partner with stakeholders to define domain strategy and overall roadmap • Co-lead the team with the Engineering Manager • Coach, model for, and grow team members • Partner with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and Insurance experts on strategy • Identify and socialize technical initiatives that improve products, systems, and teams • Contribute code strategically each development cycle • Lead incident response and continuously improve system resiliency and monitoring • Coordinate with Staff Engineers across the organization to establish and evangelize standards and best practices
🎯 Anforderungen
• 7+ years as a software engineer • 3+ years leading software teams • Expertise in Ruby on Rails • Familiarity with Rust • Proven leadership of projects involving multiple teams across functional domains • Excellent communication skills with engineering colleagues and senior business leaders • Must be on camera for virtual interviews • Must be eligible to work in the United States
