Beschreibung

• Take directions from senior-level engineers to assist with design tasks while gaining experience and learning project skills. • Review project-related design documents, including fabrication shop drawings, for completion and errors. • Model various structures using finite element modeling for design. • Review design codes and apply appropriate design standards. • Perform value engineering design analyses to determine cost-competitive designs. • Potentially visit project sites to inspect construction quality. • Travel to U.S. project locations for short durations, typically one to two days per trip, a few times per year. • Walk on and inspect structural reinforcement.

🎯 Anforderungen

• B.S. or M.S. (or M.E.) in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis. • 0 to 4 years of engineering experience. • Successful completion of the F.E. exam and Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) registration is required. • Goal of pursuing professional licensure once required experience is acquired. • Prior energy-industry experience preferred but not required. • Interest in reinforced concrete preferred. • Interest in structural design codes including IBC, ACI, ASCE 7, and AISC. • AutoCAD and/or finite element analysis experience preferred. • Well versed in Microsoft Excel and Word. • Willingness to travel to U.S. project locations for short durations a few times per year. • Ability to walk on and inspect structural reinforcement. • Ability to personify RRC core values, including client satisfaction, employee happiness, quality work, and going above and beyond.
