Beschreibung

• Resolve motor vehicle and health insurance claims for facility and physician bills • Manage an inventory of accounts in a team-based environment • Work new and priority accounts according to client protocols, including coverage investigation • Work aged and high-dollar accounts to ensure efficient recovery • Review accounts requiring substantive analysis by coding and utilization departments • Identify and resolve accounts involving multiple payers, including PIP, health, and third-party liability • Prepare and submit appeals with required documentation • Maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive account-resolution notation • Communicate professionally with payer representatives, patients, and attorneys through inbound and outbound calls • Learn and implement client-specific protocols and procedures • Identify recent payer-resolution trends and relay them to peers

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or GED • 1 to 3 years of experience with MVA claims and health claims preferred • Proven results in collecting on hospital claims from insurance companies • Experience reviewing EOBs for payment or denial reasons • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred • Experience with EPIC preferred • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work • Proficient use of web-based client and payer portals and notation databases • Professional communication with auto payers, health payers, patients, and attorneys • Must present a valid government-issued photo ID during screening and/or interviews • Applicants prioritized in AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, ME, MI, MO, MS, NC, NM, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV
