Beschreibung

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures • Develop test plans, schedules, and approaches • Write test cases and scripts and identify data for test scenarios • Conduct walkthroughs of test cases/scripts with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads • Perform and lead software and IT systems testing to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects • Perform verification activities on work products using defined methods, procedures, criteria, and appropriate verification environments • Document and communicate test results • Support test-result analysis and resolution of open issues • Document and resolve complex problems • Report problem-resolution progress to management • Improve current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations • Create daily test metrics and reporting • Occasionally perform requirements, design, installation, operation, sustainment, and support activities for IT systems • Provide technical solutions to difficult problems and represent the organization on technical issues associated with specific projects • Contribute to completion of specific programs and projects • Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance • Maintain frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years or more experience, or Master's degree and three (3) years or more experience • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field • Proven track record working on complex software projects and ensuring high-quality deliverables • Experience in both manual and automated testing • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git and SVN • Understanding of performance testing and tools, such as JMeter and Gatling • Familiarity with Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript • Experience with defect tracking and management tools, such as JIRA and Bugzilla • Experience testing COTS products • Understanding of security testing practices and tools • Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and UAT testing • Experience with test management tools • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools • Strong understanding of risk-based, exploratory, and context-driven testing • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • Advanced testing or quality assurance certifications, Edifecs certification and experience, and cloud-based testing platforms are preferred or a plus
