Beschreibung

• Help shape the technical direction of the developer platform, including CI/CD, build systems, and AI agents • Design and build AI agents for coding, code review, test generation, release automation, and incident response • Scale tooling as the engineering organization grows while maintaining reliability and developer happiness • Standardize tools and practices across engineering teams • Raise the technical bar through code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship • Partner with engineering leadership on technical priorities and tradeoffs • Represent Samsara externally through talks, open source, and recruiting-related activities • Live out Samsara’s cultural principles

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years building software, including at least 2 years in an architect or technical leadership role • Strong programming and design fundamentals • 4+ years working on large-scale distributed systems • 4+ years leading technical projects across multiple teams • Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or CI/CD for a large engineering organization (nice to have) • Experience shipping work with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or custom agents (nice to have) • Strong skills in Go, Python, TypeScript, or a similar language (nice to have) • Track record of measurably improving engineering speed (nice to have) • Comfort working in ambiguity and aligning teams without formal authority (nice to have) • Ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work at Samsara and in the specified work location
