Beschreibung

• Architect features and systems end-to-end, from data model through API through UI • Own implementation quality across the pod • Lead migration of payment processing to Go worker routines • Design concurrency models, failure and retry semantics, and cutover plans • Drive the invoicing SDK effort by decomposing the existing invoicing experience into documented, independently testable Storybook components • Define the API surface that other teams will build on • Define and champion the team testing strategy and maintainable test suite • Identify and proactively address technical debt • Propose technical tradeoffs, gain alignment, and execute • Mentor SE1s and SE2s through code review, pairing, and direct feedback • Raise the technical bar without becoming a bottleneck • Participate in customer discovery with Product • Lead AI-assisted development practices using Claude and agentic workflows • Serve as technical anchor for a small cross-functional pod of 2–3 engineers focused on accounting and payments • Partner closely with Product and Design • Own technical quality for software serving the portable sanitation and liquid waste industry

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with clear ownership of complex, production systems • Strong command of backend development (PHP, Go, Java, or similar) • Strong command of relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB preferred) • Experience writing Go, or a track record of picking up a new language quickly and going deep • Solid frontend experience with a modern framework; Angular preferred, React or Vue considered • Experience building reusable components or shared libraries consumed by other teams • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude preferred; Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as a real part of the workflow • Demonstrable ability to architect systems, make difficult technical decisions, document them, and defend them • Track record of mentoring more junior engineers and improving the team • Comfort operating in a product-led environment and engaging with the purpose behind features • Experience with Storybook or a similar component workshop is a plus • Experience with payments, billing, invoicing, or accounting systems is a bonus • Production experience with Go concurrency is a bonus • Experience in B2B SaaS, field service, or operational software is a bonus • Scheduling, routing, or mapping/geospatial experience is a bonus • Familiarity with Ionic or mobile development is a bonus • AWS experience (Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.) is a bonus • Experience with agentic AI workflows or building LLM-powered tooling is a bonus
