Beschreibung

• Lead the design of network systems that span both cloud and isolated environments, ensuring consistent connectivity and behavior. • Design networking for containerized systems to support inter-service communication and service discovery • Partner with Enterprise Ops to design and implement routing and firewall policies across shared network boundaries • Establish and improve network observability and debugging • Partner with Cybersecurity and Infosec to design connectivity and access boundaries that meet regulatory and compliance needs • Identify and resolve systemic issues affecting reliability, latency, and scalability • Mentor engineers and drive adoption of strong network design and debugging practices through hands-on guidance and review

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related fields • Experience designing and operating network systems across cloud and non-cloud environments • Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, segmentation, and traffic control • Experience with cloud networking using infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) • Experience designing networking for containerized or distributed systems • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues across systems • Experience working across team boundaries to design and implement network solutions • 3–5 years of experience designing and operating systems in regulated or compliance-driven environments • Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction
