Beschreibung

• Work at the clinic site in collaboration with Cancer Care Leadership • Interpret, deliver, operate, and monitor radiation safety policies, procedures, standards, and equipment for Radiation Oncology Services • Ensure delivery of high-quality radiation therapy • Provide staff with education and training • Provide oversight to minimize radiation exposure • Implement and abide by Customer Service Standards • Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices • Demonstrate Family-Centered Care principles when interacting with patients, families, and co-workers • Travel to new installations to commission linear accelerators and treatment planning systems for the Commissioning role

🎯 Anforderungen

• M.S. or PhD in Medical Physics or a closely related field required for listed physicist openings • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate physics experience in a similar-sized program with computerized treatment planning and comparable computerized simulator/accelerator required for Clinical Transition and Implementation Physicist • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in addition to a CAMPEP-accredited residency for Medical Physicist – Prescott and Commissioning • Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience in addition to a CAMPEP-accredited residency for Senior Medical Physicist openings • Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology or an equivalent/alternative certifying body required for specified roles; candidates not certified must be eligible and achieve certification within 3 years of hire • Experience with High Dose Rate (HDR) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) programs preferred for specified roles • Experience with a variety of clinical radiation oncology platforms, including linear accelerators, surface guidance, EMR and R&V systems, HDR afterloaders, treatment planning systems, ion chambers, electrometers, and image analysis software • Computer system administration experience with patient record and verify database applications desirable for specified roles • Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law • Compliance with applicable United States export control laws and regulations
