Beschreibung

• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary reviewer and technical lead for PV and BESS electrical engineering efforts • Develop, implement, and continuously improve electrical design standards, templates, processes, and best practices • Oversee electrical engineering deliverables for timeliness, client and regulatory compliance, quality, budget, and constructability • Conduct and review electrical engineering designs and studies and act as Engineer of Record for one or more projects simultaneously • Lead, manage, mentor, recruit, and grow the electrical design team • Champion innovation in design tools, processes, and plant technology for PV and BESS engineering, procurement, and construction • Maintain knowledge of current and pending industry codes and standards and incorporate them into design tools and processes • Interface with clients and stakeholders to optimize project design and value and provide technical solutions • Support pursuits with conceptual design input and engineering budgets • Support Operations by resolving RFIs, field changes, and other design-related issues • Perform technical evaluations of proposed changes to project design requirements, material specifications, or means and methods • Collaborate with civil, structural, and high-voltage engineering disciplines to integrate design packages

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Power Engineering • 10+ years of power system design and engineering experience, including 5+ years in PV or BESS • Professional Engineer license in one or more U.S. states • Experience leading a team of engineers and designers • Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards • Proficiency in applicable engineering software, including AutoCAD, ETAP, PVSyst/SAM, and relevant electrical system analysis software preferred • EPC experience preferred • Technical expertise in Electrical Engineering, including preparation and assembly of plans, studies, calculations, and specifications • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to prioritize and track multiple concurrent high-impact activities • Creative problem-solving ability and capacity to balance tactical and strategic decisions
