Beschreibung

• Manage the month-end close process across multiple legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion • Review journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger analyses for completeness and accuracy • Ensure transactions are properly recorded and allocated across legal entities in accordance with accounting and regulatory requirements • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS • Own the regulatory reporting calendar, ensuring all filings with the NFA, CFTC, and other governing bodies are accurate and submitted on time • Stay current on regulatory developments and proactively assess the impact on our reporting and accounting processes • Support external audits and assist with statutory reporting and tax compliance • Help maintain and strengthen internal controls (including SOX) across the business • Partner with Finance to understand budgets and forecasts, providing accounting context and ensuring alignment between actuals and plan • Work closely with business stakeholders to stay ahead of operational and product developments and ensure they are appropriately captured in the financials • Collaborate with Shared Services on transactional accounting and with Technical Accounting on complex or non-routine transactions • Identify and drive process improvements across accounting workflows to support accuracy, efficiency, and scale • Support and develop team members, helping build a high-performing accounting function

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field • CPA or equivalent strongly preferred • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated ownership of close processes and financial statement preparation • Strong foundation in US GAAP; IFRS knowledge a plus • Experience in financial markets, trading environments, or regulated industries (e.g., broker-dealer, exchange, commodities, gaming) strongly preferred • Familiarity with NFA/CFTC regulations or similar regulatory frameworks is highly desirable • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with financial systems and ERP platforms preferred • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple entities • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance, accounting, and business teams • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and proactively manage through ambiguity.
