Beschreibung

• Lead the definition, design, architecture, implementation, and delivery of Slate's client-side software across web and mobile platforms • Code and test UI components and client applications • Lead code and design reviews with a focus on user experience quality • Own end-to-end frontend quality, including UI testing, accessibility, cross-platform functional tests, and client-service integration • Simplify complex user interactions and solve challenging UX and performance problems • Partner with UX and product teams as a primary technical voice to build new customer-focused experiences • Serve as an authority on frontend architecture and web/mobile platform decisions • Advise on performance, scalability, and technology trade-offs • Drive awareness of how frontend technical decisions affect product quality, customer experience, and business outcomes • Mentor engineers on frontend best practices and platform patterns • Assist managers in guiding team growth

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • 12+ years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on client-side and UI engineering • 10+ years of programming experience in modern languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, or Kotlin • 10+ years of experience in full-stack mobile and web development — Android, iOS, or modern web browsers — with deep expertise in building performant, scalable frontend applications • 10+ years of experience contributing to frontend architecture and design systems, including component architecture, state management, and cross-platform reliability • 10+ years of experience with the full software development life cycle, including UI coding standards, component libraries, source control, build pipelines, testing frameworks, and shipping to production • 7+ years of experience leading frontend design and architecture across new and existing products, with a track record of making systems more maintainable, accessible, and performant at scale • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis • Visa sponsorship is unavailable
