Beschreibung

• Write advanced T-SQL scripts for MS SQL Server 2008–2019 • Review developers' SQL code • Analyze execution plans and resolve execution-plan issues • Optimize database performance, including queries, indexes, locking, disk, and memory • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks remotely and on short notice • Support and maintain an AlwaysOn availability group with primary and mirror servers • Help analysts and ML engineers with data access and retrieval • Perform database maintenance, including archiving, recovery strategies, security policies, and data integrity checks • Monitor server performance and proactively prevent incidents

🎯 Anforderungen

• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2008–2019 • Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server architecture and internals • Excellent T-SQL skills with extensive developer-level scripting experience • Experience with stored procedures, UDFs, triggers, and distributed transactions • Solid grasp of relational database fundamentals • Proven ability to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions • Ability to read and understand code written by others • Ability to independently identify logic errors from database structure and code alone • Experience working with high-load databases in the tens of terabytes
