Beschreibung

• Update and upgrade outdated libraries, dependencies, and frameworks to keep the application stable and secure • Add and expand unit test coverage across the application • Thoroughly test the system after upgrades to validate stability and functionality • Identify and resolve issues introduced by dependency or framework changes • Collaborate with the client's engineering team to align on priorities and progress • Support end-of-life maintenance work for an application remaining operational beyond its planned decommissioning • Work roughly equally across backend and frontend, with slightly more backend code • Ramp up quickly on an existing codebase

🎯 Anforderungen

• +90% English written and oral (B2 level minimum) • 8+ years of full-stack development experience • Strong backend experience with Kotlin and Gradle • Strong frontend experience with TypeScript and React • Experience with library/dependency upgrades and framework version migrations • Solid understanding of unit testing principles and experience writing and maintaining tests • Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on an existing codebase • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field • Experience working on EOL or legacy modernization projects • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Experience working in small, agile teams • Applicants must be based in LATAM countries
