Beschreibung

• Use AI-assisted development tools, where appropriate, to design, develop, test, document, and deploy components of Messaging Security Group services • Design and implement product components across the full software stack with strong test coverage and automation • Deliver against project timelines, quality expectations, and requirements • Participate in project planning and deliver high-value solutions meeting business needs • Analyze and understand project requirements • Participate in product design aligned with technical strategy, quality standards, and functional requirements • Mentor junior team members through pair programming and code reviews • Contribute to daily stand-ups, kick-offs, collaborative estimation, and retrospective meetings • Participate in security reviews and analyze product security concerns • Present security documentation • Contribute to code reviews • Define test scenarios and test cases • Collaborate with senior development leaders, architects, product management, and the global Sophos UI team • May lead projects under the guidance of an architect or senior technical lead • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production services • Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude and Codex • 5+ years of experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, Angular, GoLang, and possibly React • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying micro-services in AWS (ECS or EKS) • Confidence in designing, implementing and testing software systems and components • Confidence in presenting your design in front of the Tech Council • Ability to read code and review PRs • Experience working with best-of-breed cloud technologies and troubleshooting large-scale cloud-based applications • Legal authorization to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship
