Beschreibung

• Lead the team behind Spark’s broker productivity product • Build and guide development of product features for a frictionless broker experience • Architect and design technical solutions focused on impact • Review code and specifications and guide the team’s technical direction • Support development and prioritization of the technology infrastructure roadmap • Mentor and provide career coaching to direct reports • Balance hands-on engineering work with higher-level technical guidance • Coordinate with Product on roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution • Sequence and scope projects to align with business goals • Manage team processes and productivity for alignment and timely project delivery • Manage a team of 3+ engineers • Partner with Product and Design to improve services and workflows • Work with engineering leaders to strengthen technical foundations, quality, and performance

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5-8+ years in full stack software engineering in a startup environment • Strong technical foundation in developing software with Python and Django or similar • Experience architecting and owning production systems and complex frameworks • Experience using javascript frameworks such as Vue or React • 1+ years in leading engineering teams in a management capacity • Player/coach leadership style, balancing hands-on work with team management • Experience hiring, growing and managing software engineers • Ability to collaborate directly with product, design, data and cross-functional stakeholders • Ability to understand complex business problems and scope and develop elegant technical solutions • Strong project management, planning and prioritization skills with a focus on delivery • Strong communication skills • Experience with Python, Django, Celery, Vue, Redis, Postgres, AWS, version control, continuous deployment, testing and observability • Must work from an approved location within the United States; international remote work is not accommodated
