Beschreibung

• Deploy, upgrade, and maintain the High-Speed Data (HSD) infrastructure supporting critical Internet services • Manage vendor solutions supporting core platforms such as DNS, DHCP, and DOCSIS provisioning • Ensure compliance with security policies and maintain high system availability • Analyze project requests to estimate time and cost • Perform on-call duties, customer equipment escalations, and overnight network changes as assigned • Configure, manage and troubleshoot Linux systems, DOCSIS provisioning, DNS and DHCP configuration

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Computer Information Systems (CIS) from an accredited four-year institution • Minimum two years related progressive experience in a network engineering role required • Previous working background in an MSO (Multiple System Operators) in the cable industry preferred • 6+ years hands-on experience managing CentOS or RHEL environments • Proficiency with Shell, Python, Perl, Docker, and/or Ansible for system automation and orchestration • 4+ years designing, deploying, and operating high-availability corporate and telecommunications networks • Demonstrated expertise in advanced troubleshooting and in applying industry-standard network-security best practices • CCIE — Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert preferred • CISSP — Certified Information Systems Security Professional preferred
