Beschreibung

• Provide scientific and strategic direction for tactical promotional communications across assigned therapeutic areas and products • Partner with Account Services, Creative Services, Editorial Services, Project Management, Medical Strategy, Creative Strategy, clients, clinical experts, and patients • Lead medical contributions and communications for client and product content development and new-business initiatives • Conceptualize innovative initiatives while maintaining scientific integrity • Oversee and directly develop clinical content for print and digital advertising, presentations, advisory boards, speaker programs, webcasts, videos, websites, and multimedia initiatives • Communicate complex medical and scientific concepts clearly and appropriately for the audience • Ensure scientific integrity, accuracy, and clinical relevance of materials • Review and interpret product literature and clinical data, including benchmarking products against competitors • Assume final responsibility for assigned project content, strategy, technical accuracy, relevance, and audience appropriateness • Present and defend content and strategy to client review committees and incorporate feedback • Generate project ideas for existing and prospective clients • Direct and support Medical Directors and Medical Writers • Develop project timelines with Account Services and Project Management • Attend professional meetings and congresses • Attend and facilitate advisory board meetings and convert discussions into actionable strategy and tactics • Conduct healthcare professional and patient interviews with Account Services • Represent Synchrony at internal functions and support annual planning and new-business development • Support medical education events and activities • Build cross-functional collaboration and strong client and clinical-expert relationships • Ensure professional development, recruitment, mentorship, and retention of assigned Medical Services personnel

🎯 Anforderungen

• PhD, PharmD, or MD • Minimum of 5 years in a direct content development role in some combination of advertising, marketing communications, and medical communications • Substantial experience leading at least 4 of: advertising campaigns; pharmaceutical product launches; promotional education activities; disease education campaigns; promotional medical/marketing initiatives; digital and interactive programs; advisory boards; key clinical expert identification and development • Specific industry or therapeutic expertise • Ability to travel as client needs require • Ability to commit to extra and/or nontraditional hours as client needs require • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook • Strong presentation and persuasion skills • Strategic and analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills • Professional written and interpersonal communication skills • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility and adaptability to change and ability to work under time constraints • Strong scientific and medical accuracy and attention to detail • Effective cross-functional leadership skills • Ability to manage priorities and workflow according to timelines and budgets • Diplomacy, negotiation, conflict resolution, and people-management skills • Ability to interact effectively in a team environment
