Beschreibung

• Provide scientific and strategic direction for pharmaceutical advertising and promotional activities across assigned therapeutic areas and products • Partner with Account Services, Creative Services, Editorial Services, Project Management, clients, and clinical experts to develop branded and unbranded communications for healthcare professionals and patients • Represent Medical Services at internal functions, annual planning, new-business development, client meetings, and medical education initiatives • Lead medical contributions and communications for client and product content development • Conceptualize innovative promotional and product-strategy initiatives while maintaining scientific integrity • Oversee and directly develop clinical content for advertising campaigns, presentations, advisory boards, speaker programs, webcasts, videos, websites, and multimedia initiatives • Communicate complex medical and scientific concepts clearly and appropriately for target audiences • Ensure scientific integrity, accuracy, clinical relevance, and strategic alignment of materials • Review and interpret product literature and clinical data; benchmark client products against competitors • Assume final responsibility for assigned project content, strategy, technical accuracy, audience appropriateness, and storytelling • Present and defend content and strategy to client review committees and incorporate feedback • Generate project ideas for existing and prospective clients • Direct and support internal and external Medical Directors and Medical Writers • Develop project timelines with Account Services and Project Management • Attend professional meetings and congresses to monitor therapeutic-area and competitive developments • Attend and facilitate advisory boards; synthesize clinical-expert discussions into actionable strategy and tactics • Support healthcare professional and patient interviews for market research • Ensure professional development, recruitment, mentorship, and retention of assigned Medical Services personnel • Foster cross-functional collaboration, strong client relationships, internal communications, and positive work culture

🎯 Anforderungen

• PhD, PharmD, or MD • Minimum of 7 years in a direct content development role in advertising, marketing communications, and/or medical communications • Substantial experience leading at least 4 of: advertising campaigns; pharmaceutical product launches; promotional education activities; disease education campaigns; promotional medical/marketing initiatives; digital and interactive programs; advisory boards; key clinical expert identification and development • Specific industry or therapeutic expertise • Ability to travel as client needs require • Ability to commit to extra and/or nontraditional hours as client needs require • High integrity, ethics, confidentiality, and accountability • Strategic and analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills • Professional written and interpersonal communication skills • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility and adaptability to change and time constraints • Strong scientific and medical accuracy • Cross-functional leadership skills • Ability to manage priorities, workflow, timelines, and budgets • Ability to provide direction and developmental support to direct reports • Diplomacy, negotiation, conflict resolution, and people-management skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook • Strong presentation and persuasion skills
