Beschreibung

• Own and articulate Keet’s long-term product vision as a leading private, peer-to-peer communication app with a path to 1 billion users • Analyze WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, LINE, WeChat, and emerging competitors to identify P2P advantages and build the roadmap • Present product vision, strategy, metrics, and progress to the board and executive leadership • Define measurable growth strategies across acquisition, activation, retention, and virality • Develop deep working knowledge of the Holepunch P2P stack and translate its capabilities and constraints into product decisions • Partner with core engineering on NAT traversal, offline sync, multi-device support, large groups, push notifications, and mobile battery/data efficiency • Own the 1:1 and group voice/video calling and screen-sharing experience to meet or exceed Google Meet and Zoom quality • Define feature tiers distinguishing stable and experimental functionality • Use AI coding and design tools to build prototypes and demos within days • Lead the product team and manage sprint planning, prioritization, standups, reviews, and retrospectives • Own deliverables from conception through release, testing, and post-launch iteration • Maintain issue trackers and roadmaps aligned with priorities and sprint commitments • Coordinate engineering, QA, design, marketing, and business stakeholders across the Holepunch and Tether ecosystem • Provide status, risk, and timeline updates and address accountability issues • Own iOS and Android mobile release processes, including store submissions, compliance, listings, ratings, and release management • Oversee desktop distribution and installers for macOS, Windows, and Linux • Build privacy-preserving crash reporting, debugging, and analytics systems

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8+ years of product management experience, including significant time in a senior or lead role owning a consumer product end to end • Proven track record of setting product vision and driving it to measurable outcomes at scale (tens of millions of users or more) • Experience leading engineers who ship products, including running sprint cadences with predictable delivery across cross-functional teams • Deep JavaScript and React skills • Ability to read and write production code, review pull requests, and build working prototypes • Intuition for distributed and local-first systems, including sync, offline behavior, and consistency trade-offs • Hands-on experience shipping and scaling mobile apps on iOS and Android • Deep familiarity with App Store and Google Play logistics, review processes, and release management • Experience with real-time voice and video calling products and related quality, latency, and reliability trade-offs • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to rapidly prototype and demonstrate product concepts • Exceptional communication skills, including presenting vision and strategy to boards, executives, and investors • Judgment to make fast, high-quality decisions with incomplete information • Willingness to work extended hours when the mission demands it • Excellent written and spoken English • Nice to have: product leadership experience at a major messaging app • Nice to have: experience with peer-to-peer technologies, distributed systems, or decentralized protocols • Nice to have: exposure to Holepunch, Pear, or Hypercore • Nice to have: experience growing products in emerging markets or across multiple regions and languages • Nice to have: background in privacy, encryption, or security-focused products • Nice to have: familiarity with Electron, React Native, installer systems, boot performance, and Linux packaging • Nice to have: understanding of unit, integration, end-to-end, automation, and performance testing • Nice to have: engineering background or computer science degree • Nice to have: experience with Git, issue trackers, and modern collaboration tools • Application must include a link to a shipped product or prototype and an explanation of how to take Keet to 1 billion users
