Beschreibung

• Conduct thorough screening of all in-scope credit balance accounts at provider sites • Review credits in alignment with account aging, dollar amounts, and provider expectations • Identify and quickly resolve straightforward credit issues • Flag impediments and escalate complex cases or potential refunds for further evaluation • Confirm account details and financial transactions in provider patient accounting systems and supporting applications • Review and reverse invalid adjustments to clear credit balances • Provide detailed resolutions and/or impediments for assigned credit balances • Review and respond to TRENDAnalyze system rejections within 48 hours • Review and respond to QA rejections within 48 hours • Manage accounts receivable to close identified client overpayments and document follow-up notes • Prepare documentation for provider approval on identified overpayments • Escalate situations outside the employee’s control that could adversely impact business relationships

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School Diploma • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems, including word processing, managing files and records, and workplace terminology • Ability to understand implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making • Ability to concentrate on tasks without being distracted • Ability to listen attentively, understand spoken information, ask appropriate questions, and avoid inappropriate interruptions • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems • Ability to understand spoken information • Ability to read and understand written information • Compliance requirements may include background and drug screenings and disclosures of personal health information or personally identifiable information • Knowledge and experience in Revenue Cycle or Patient Accounting (preferred) • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel (preferred)
