Beschreibung

• Manage a team of 8-10 individuals across multiple teams on a complex system implementation project • Provide technical and functional support for data transition activities, including migrating legacy financial data to a web-based federal financial, budget, and procurement management system • Analyze and document legacy financial and feeder systems, data flows, system strengths and limitations, and general ledger posting logic • Identify and formulate organizational target-state requirements from written materials and stakeholder interactions • Brief leadership on mock conversion results and present detailed requirements to key stakeholders • Use Agile software daily to track requirements, defects, configuration requirements, and team workload • Serve as the General Ledger subject matter expert • Lead tie-point and abnormal-balance analyses and assess complex GL posting logic for USSGL alignment • Perform detailed reconciliations between legacy-system financial data and Momentum mock-converted outputs • Document payroll and non-payroll accruals and validate conversion journal vouchers • Validate post-conversion financial reporting data for GTAS Reporting, SF-133s, tie-point analysis, and DATA Act reporting • Execute and validate mock and go-live conversion activities through reconciliation, requirements testing, validation reports, and stakeholder collaboration • Analyze, resolve, configure, and reconcile Momentum Financial reports • Work directly with the Department of Veterans Affairs client and partner firms • Support staffing key project roles and provide guidance to team members

🎯 Anforderungen

• BA/BS or equivalent and 12 years in the industry, eight of which directly relate to the required area of expertise • Comprehensive knowledge of OMB Circular A 136 Financial Reporting, OMB bulletins, and circulars • Knowledge of U.S. Standard General Ledger (USSGL) • Knowledge of Treasury reports such as GTAS, DATA Act, and SF 133 • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Hands-on technical experience with Momentum Financials and implementation of Momentum in a cloud-based environment • Ability to manage a team of 8-10 financial management professionals • Effective communication and interaction with senior-level management and clients • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills • Creative problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently • Ability to work independently or with little direction • Experience working within or supporting federal agencies or highly regulated environments • Ability to interface with SMEs, end-users, and client stakeholders • Highly proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint • Knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies; experience working in an Agile environment • Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL working with Oracle databases • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance • VA or Federal experience preferred • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
