Beschreibung

• Own and drive the monthly accounting close process across multiple entities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis • Own Annual Report preparation and the statutory audit process • Prepare and send draft Annual Reports to auditors and upload reconciled merchant balances for audit sampling • Serve as primary liaison for external auditors • Manage VAT reporting, declarations, and payments • Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory returns • Verify monthly payroll files and liaise with the payroll provider on salary data • Prepare annual social cost reconciliations • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs for senior management and the board • Manage capitalisation of tangible fixed assets and run amortisation and depreciation schedules in NetSuite • Reconcile the fixed asset register to Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts • Review trade debtor and creditor aging to optimise debt control • Reconcile corporate bank accounts in NetSuite and maintain the main group reconciliation sheet monthly • Participate in Finance process-improvement projects • Operate cross-functionally and globally as an owner and demonstrate self-initiative

🎯 Anforderungen

• A qualified accountant with solid post-qualification industry experience • Preferably experience in a startup environment • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to identify, create, and deliver process improvements • Self-starter able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment • Knowledge of or experience in the payments industry (nice to have) • Knowledge of regulatory reporting, including CBI/FCA and SFSA (nice to have) • Experience with safeguarding regulations and audits (nice to have) • Accounting Practice background, Startup or SME experience (particularly exciting)
