Beschreibung

• Supervise the day-to-day loan origination activities of a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators • Ensure required processing, underwriting, and closing documents are secured timely from appropriate sources • Meet annual loan volume origination goals established by upper management • Establish referral-source relationships with real estate brokers, builders, and other external sources • Participate in local and state mortgage banking, realtor, and builder trade associations • Maintain thorough knowledge of mortgage industry issues and events • Establish collaborative partnerships within U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other U.S. Bank business lines • Promote customer relationship growth and additional product sales • Interview and recruit new talent • Retain employees through employee development and positive employee engagement

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or equivalent • Two or more years of mortgage sales experience • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z • Completion of required NMLS registration process, including criminal background and credit checks • Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills • Good knowledge of sales and sales strategies • Thorough knowledge of mortgage products/services, operations, and current market trends • Basic knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies • Working knowledge of underwriting requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs, and private investors • Familiarity with local, state, and national laws, including zoning ordinances, Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, and energy audit requirements • Well-developed customer service and relationship skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial information • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to meet applicable requirements for performing duties outside the regular place of business • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies
