Beschreibung

• Lead a team of solar engineers • Manage and lead all engineering activities during proposal, design, and construction stages • Work with customers to ensure client and project expectations are understood and addressed • Provide technical leadership and coordination on large utility scale solar projects • Create and manage team budget for financial responsibility • Coach, train, and develop engineering technical staff for growth and development opportunities • Maintain and grow positive team culture • Aid in the development and management of strategic accounts and proposals • Maintain and build positive client relationships.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and or electrical engineering, or related engineering field • Professional Engineer (PE or PEng registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) strongly preferred • Minimum of 7 years of solar project design and 3 years of team leadership (solar or non-solar) experience is preferred • Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and PV design, including plant layout and performance modeling, modules, inverters, racking, and DC/AC collection systems • Strong understanding of project performance and cost drivers • Proven experience in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Must be able to travel to project/client sites as required (approximately 5-15%) • Must have authorization to work permanently in the United States or Canada.
