Beschreibung

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance • Enhance ecommerce platforms supporting online shopping for Anthropologie.com, UrbanOutfitters.com, FreePeople.com, and ShopTerrain.com • Develop customer-facing applications and work with existing store brands • Design and develop microservices and event-driven systems • Develop new product features and improve existing ecommerce application code • Determine requirements and plan, design, and develop complex, business-critical software solutions • Create functional designs while collaborating with enterprise architects, developers, business partners, and end users • Leverage AI coding agents across planning, implementation, and review, ensuring code correctness and quality • Respond to potential production issues • Collaborate across teams and share knowledge with other engineers

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 3–5 years of software development experience • Understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns • Experience with JSON, REST, HTML, AJAX, and CSS • Proficiency in Python or Golang • Strong understanding of RESTful services design • Strong understanding of asynchronous message processing technologies • Strong data modeling skills • Hands-on experience with an AI coding agent in a professional codebase, such as Claude Code or Cursor • Ability to learn new concepts and technologies and develop features from inception to completion • Strong communication skills for discussing complex technical problems with developers, QA, and BSAs • Familiarity with search solutions such as Elasticsearch or Solr • Expertise with unit testing frameworks and mocking libraries • Familiarity with Django or other ORM frameworks • Experience with Tornado, Flask, or other web server technologies • Experience with Vue.js, React, or similar web frameworks • Experience with a NoSQL database • Experience with relational database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL or Cloud SQL • Experience authoring agent files and reusable skills, and connecting agents to real systems via CLI tools or MCP • Exposure to data science and machine learning technologies • Understanding of cloud hosting platforms and infrastructure
