Beschreibung

• Own the data Vanta's EPD organization runs on • Bring new signal sources online from discovery and scoping through ingestion, standardization, and live operation • Identify failure modes in information sources and build systems that mitigate them at ingestion • Work with teams producing and consuming signals to understand meaning and requirements, then build accordingly • Replace human-diligence dependencies with engineering solutions by deriving fields, pulling from source systems, and validating at write time • Build alongside teammates who are growing into building and raise their technical capability • Partner with inference and systems layers to ensure outputs are queryable, trustworthy, and ready to build on

🎯 Anforderungen

• You've shipped something yourself in roughly the last 12–18 months — a pipeline, an internal tool, a working prototype, an agent — and you can walk through the code and defend your choices • You've built something real with Claude, an LLM API, or agentic tooling • Ability to identify data-source failure modes, including staleness, duplication, and schema scalability issues • Engineering-oriented approach to adherence problems: derive fields, pull from source systems, or validate at write time • Ability to understand data meaning by talking to the teams that produce and consume it • Willingness to use AI to augment skills and improve efficiency and impact • No CS degree or formal engineering tenure required • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly
