Beschreibung

• Contribute to development of the Bachelor's program in Intelligent Systems and Applied Computing • Assist in recruiting students • Conduct live English-language sessions on programming, software engineering, machine learning, agentic AI, and data engineering • Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support for project and research work • Design and evaluate portfolio assessments, exams, and bachelor's theses • Conduct practice-oriented research and transfer projects in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data engineering • Cooperate with industry and research institutions • Initiate research collaborations and acquire third-party funding • Publish research findings in academic journals and present at relevant conferences • Represent the university at specialist presentations and industry events • Participate in research-related product developments, founding/start-up ventures, and patent applications • Contribute to academic self-governance and further development of study programs • Participate in international collaboration • Potentially give a teaching session, outline a research project, and complete at least one interview during the appointment procedure

🎯 Anforderungen

• A completed university degree • Pedagogical-didactic aptitude confirmed through practical experience • Special aptitude for in-depth independent scholarly work, generally evidenced by an above-average doctorate in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related field • At least five years of professional practice, including at least three years outside the higher education sector • Preferably professional experience in software development, artificial intelligence, or data engineering roles in industry • Ability and willingness to conduct teaching, research, and transfer activities in English • Willingness to develop and further build higher education teaching competencies, particularly in generative AI-supported teaching • Motivation to develop and apply new didactic formats in software engineering and artificial intelligence education • Readiness to collaborate across applied computing and AI, digital business transformation, and immersive design • Proven experience in industry or research projects related to software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data-driven applications • Experience in international contexts or motivation to integrate international software, AI, and technology projects into teaching and research • Willingness to actively shape the foundation and growth of a new university • Visible research focus in software engineering, artificial intelligence, or data engineering • Understanding of knowledge and technology transfer between science, industry, and society • Application documents must be submitted in English • Foreign educational qualifications require proof of equivalence
