Beschreibung

• Perform and review lease accounting activities, including recognition, modifications, terminations and related journal entries • Ensure lease accounting is compliant with US GAAP (ASC 842) and is consistent across various brands and entities • Analyze lease-related balances and ensure accurate reflection in financial statements and corporate reporting • Drive month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of lease related components of the financial statements in alignment with corporate close timelines • Assist with the final review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting deliverables prior to submission • Prepare and provide audit support documentation, including walkthroughs and testing support • Act as a primary accounting contact for internal and external audits and partner with appropriate teams to ensure completeness of supporting information • Identify control gaps or process inefficiencies and drive remediation and continuous improvement initiatives • Participate in system implementations, upgrades and process improvement initiatives • Support testing efforts for accounting-related projects (e.g., system changes and new processes)

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a multi-entity or publicly traded environment • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP • Experience materially contributing to month-end close, internal control compliance, and audit support • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate complex accounting topics to stakeholders • Experience in consumer, retail, apparel, footwear, or multi-brand environments • Familiarity with data analytics tools or emerging technologies • SAP experience • BPC experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail with focus on accuracy • Ability to review and challenge financial data • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
