Beschreibung

• Lead Gen consulting engagements with enterprise clients • Analyse existing legacy applications and recommend modernisation strategies • Support application re-platforming and system re-architecture initiatives • Install, configure, upgrade and optimise CA Gen environments • Design and develop solutions using CA Gen • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve application performance • Understand customer business requirements and propose technical solutions • Deliver projects within agreed scope, budget and timelines • Produce proof of concepts and technical prototypes • Contribute to technical proposals, solution designs and client presentations • Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and development processes • Mentor junior consultants where required • Support business development activities through technical expertise • Work in a collaborative, autonomous, cross-functional engineering team

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related technical field • Strong commercial experience with CA Gen • Experience installing, configuring and upgrading Gen environments • Strong understanding of application development • Strong understanding of component-based development (CBD) • Strong understanding of batch processing • Strong understanding of transaction processing • Strong understanding of relational databases • Strong understanding of performance tuning • Strong understanding of UI design and development • Experience delivering application modernisation or legacy transformation projects • Experience with application re-platforming • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Experience working directly with enterprise customers • Strong communication and consulting skills • Ability to work independently while managing client relationships • Strong English communication skills, written and verbal • Preferred additional experience includes COBOL, IBM Mainframe technologies, ISPF, JCL, SPUFI, SCLM, Java, .NET, Spring Boot, Angular, cloud platforms, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, and automation tooling
