Beschreibung

• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns, including direct, indirect, VAT, and international filings. • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual GAAP tax provisions. • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for tax provisions in collaboration with the Accounting team. • Record quarterly and annual tax-related journal entries. • Process tax payments and ensure accurate recording of related entries. • Coordinate the collection and validation of financial data required for tax reporting and filings. • Track, manage, and respond to tax notices and correspondence in a timely manner. • Collaborate with external tax advisors and consultants to support compliance and reporting requirements. • Ensure tax and accounting processes adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures, including SOX 404 requirements. • Partner with internal and external auditors to support audits and respond to inquiries. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the Accounting function. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required • CPA preferred • 3+ years of experience in accounting or corporate tax • Experience in the financial services industry preferred • Exposure to tax returns and/or tax provisions is helpful but not required; training will be provided • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including U.S. GAAP • Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships • Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or other data/automation tools is a plus • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Strong professional judgment and integrity • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders.
